Our colleagues from Tentonhammer shared their impressions of the playable version of the marine online game World of Warships, which was shown at E3. First, as noted by journalists - the historical accuracy of the game. Not so long ago, the development team traveled to the United States, where she learned many documents of the Second World War, as well as some "real" ships. That helped in the creation of the game.

The second strong point of World of Warships - interesting gameplay with a variety of tactical possibilities. It was shown two game modes - "Capture the Flag" and a simple duel between the two navies. The action took place on a completely different maps: the North Sea, where the water ice-floes, and in the southern Pacific Ocean.

In the battle involved three classes of ships - destroyers, battle cruisers and aircraft carriers. In the game takes into account parameters such as water depth and sediment ship - on each map there are areas in which, for example, can pass only light destroyers. Another advantage of this class - great speed, thanks to which the destroyers are excellent scouts. They are not very well protected, but if you break through the enemy fleet in order, they can make some a lot of nasty things thanks to its powerful torpedo tubes.

No less impressive looks and firepower of battleships that are able to shoot your main battery for 40 miles. Has its own characteristics and aircraft carriers. Their aircraft can perform a variety of tasks: reconnaissance, attack enemy forces and cover from enemy aircraft.

World of Warships - multiplayer online game about naval battles, developed in conjunction with the St. Petersburg Wargaming.net Lesta Studio. The game is dedicated to a team fighting on ships during the Second World War. Together with World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, World of Warships make a single multiplayer game universe where virtual pilots, tankers and shipbuilders will be able to interact with each other.
